I suppose technology just can’t be relied upon anymore. I have two websites hosted at a college, and neither of them works right now. This is happening way too often. The servers at said college are running Linux, too! I thought Windows was the unstable one, but Linux seems to crash a lot. Granted, the websites are nothing important, but the sites double as FTP storage for my homework (backup), so not having access for hours at a time is irritating. Tomorrow is the due date for my next unit of World Civilizations 1A, and I have yet to start. I only hope my taking the PSAT tomorrow won’t interfere with the completion of my work.On the website front, I haven’t done any development since yesterday. OK, it’s early in this blog’s history to be doing this, but I need a fix for another of my websites. I’m redeveloping a site in my free time. The old version was framed, but I’m unframing it for search engine visibility.And now for the question: Does anyone know of an easy-to-use, CSS-only method of creating a website layout with two columns (one nav and one content)? Yay! I have Blogger! I need to figure out how to move content over from my Windows Live Space, but I’m very happy to have everything united under one account (Google).
Time to revamp the (relatively new) Starfleet website with an LCARS design. This will probably take several days to accomplish. Updates will be added to this thread. Update: 11/07/06: This update has been canceled. A new template is being designed instead. Update: 05/30/07: The template design has been implemented since around January, and improvements are coming regularly.
