But just to add to the info here about transferring ownership of google documents, unfortunately, for some reason google hasn't allowed ownership to be changed/transferred for spreadsheets. So if you're trying to transfer ownership of a spreadsheet, I guess the best way around it is probably to save it on your computer and upload it again under new ownership.
