Funny Randomization: Google: Web 2.0?

Here's a randomization from google.isyournewbicycle.com that is obviously untrue, this time about Google (rather than Microsoft):

That's really funny, considering that Gmail was one of the first major Web applications to use AJAX extensively. Google's Calendar, Reader, and Docs services (among many others) also use AJAX as a fundamental part of their inner workings, so it's even funnier in that case.

  1. All I can say is – WOW! Google uses Ajax for the right reasons-Microsoft actually invented the iframe, which is basically the beginning of the technology, but left it up to Jesse James Garrett and the rest of the open source guys to improve it. Years later, when the technology term AJAX gets popularly coined and Microsoft wants a piece of the action, they go crying back to Google and the W3C. Heh, leave it to Microsoft to NOT know ANYTHING about their own technologies!! Great Post!!
